In his last three healthy seasons (2009, 2010, and 2013), he’s put up 2.0, 4.7, and 3.4 WAR. He also managed to put up 1.7 WAR in 2011 before he got hurt. That’s a pretty solid player. Per Fangraphs, only 56 players generated more than his 3.4 WAR last year. Again, that’s a solid player. I hope they retain him him. |
