There are a few explanations, not the least of which is the orientation of runways at Jabara and McConnell is almost exactly the same: Jabara points 180 degrees south while McConnell points 190 degrees south. Lining up for the 12,000-foot runway at McConnell also would have you lining up for the 6,100-foot runway at Jabara. |
