Heat gently for 10 to 15 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and the fruits start to burst. Mix the arrowroot with a little cold water. Add to the fruit and stir well. Bring the mixture to a simmer and immediately take it off the heat. Leave to cool then pass through a sieve. Mix this fruit coulis into the custard, tasting as you do so - you might not need all of it. |
