His wife was called a âwhoreâ and he was called a âcracker,â yet only one of the teenagers is being charged with a bias crime. The wife was dragged out of the car by a 12-year-old girl, who proceeded to slam her head into the pavement. This was not front-page news? But a young black man is on the cover for being âBusted at Barneys for being Blackâ (Oct. 23). I guess Iâll make it a point not to drive around my old neighborhood while Iâm in Brooklyn. Itâs a sad world we live in. Maybe next time these youth should ask themselves âwhat ifâ it was their parents in the car and a group of white kids did this. Maybe they would think twice, then. |
